How to Sponsor a Philly Beer Geek Competitor

Note: Dates subject to change to coincide with Philly Beer Week 2011

1. Register with Philly Beer Geek: Complete Sponsor Registration online with $100 registration fee. Registration Fee covers administrative costs, promotion, posters, press releases, award plaques, logo design, and commemorative t-shirts for all qualifying preliminary round winners.
2. Select a PBG Semi-Finalist: Hold a Qualifying Preliminary Round at your own Bar, Brewpub or Restaurant between January 1 – May 22, 2011.
3. Make it easy! Contact Jason Harris or Carolyn Smagalski for a list of "beer groups" who want you to sponsor them. You will have an instant crowd for your qualifying round, without having to do any of the footwork. Choose a Winner (PBG Semi-Finalist) and Runner-up. Runner-up will compete in the event your PBG Semi-Finalist cannot compete for any reason.
4. Submit: Name, phone contact and email address of your PBG Semi-Finalist and Runner-up via email to carol@phillybeergeek.com by May 23, 2011.
5. Submit a Sponsorship Prize for the Grand Prize Basket (Retail value $100). Sponsorship Prizes may be Gift Certificates, Beer, Specialty Items, Beer Books, Logo'd Clothing or other appropriate Merchandise.
6. Send: Your PBG Semi-Finalist to compete in the Semi-Finals Segment of the 2011 Philly Beer Geek Competition on May 24, 2011.
7. Six of the Semi-Final competitors will be selected to compete in the Final Showdown at the 2011 Philly Beer Geek Competition on June 9, 2011.
